Robert Lewandowski operating at level of Lionel Messi

Robert Lewandowski operating at level of Lionel Messi, Cristiano RonaldoCurrently firing in full cylinders for German league giants Bayern Munich since the start of their campaign, Bavarian charismatic forward Robert Lewandowski is in a league of its own in the Bundesliga this season. With series of matchwinning performances at the office, Lewandowski with his impressive goal tally has managed to put forwards like RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner to shame in the German top flight.

Even though Werner has netted 11 league goals in the new season, he is still no competition to Lewandowski.
Let's find time to move over from GOAT debate & appreciate Lewa, shall we?

The Polish stalwart has managed to find the back of the net on 16 separate occasions in the German top flight, making him the rightful heir of the goal-scoring charts this season. Not only Bundesliga, Lewandowski has an immaculate run at goals as he tends to flex his muscles by maintaining supremacy over Europe's top forward representing other leagues. The Poland superstar has scored in every Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League match he has played for the Bavarian giant this season.

With numbers doing the talking for Lewa, it is obvious to receive recognition from his peers as the Polish striker remains keen on setting new benchmarks for forwards in the ongoing campaign with reigning Bundesliga champions. Lavishing praise at the Poland international, Werner claims Lewandowski endorses the same level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Which side will end his goal-scoring run?

"It's hard [to be top-scorer]. When you score two goals against Hertha Berlin and then watch the game evening game, having scored four or three goals less than Robert Lewandowski this season, and he scores twice against Borussia Dortmund...Against whom is he not going to score? That's very hard," Werner said in a news conference while being on international duty for Germany.

The German feels that only a few players are operating at the level of the Bayern goal machine before claiming that Lewandowski is in the same category as Ronaldo and Messi at the moment.

Lewandowski: [laughs] That was just her messing about! She's always delighted for me. Furthermore, she helps me a lot when it comes to my nutrition and recovery. She's a professional dietician.

"How he is playing at the moment, maybe only one or two players on the planet are on this level. That's the category of Messi and Ronaldo," he added.

Well, now you've got to tell us the secret of the Lewandowski diet?

t's safe to assume that there are no food sins involved – like sweets, for instance?
You might be surprised to find this out, but sweets were a big problem for me when I was younger. It didn't matter what it was, I couldn't walk past it without buying it. Now I've cut sweets out. It actually took me several years to get to this point. Now I don't really like sweets anymore.
Your reward is scoring more goals, then. So basically it gets increasingly more dangerous for opponents when you don't want to eat sweets anymore? For Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League as well?

There's no secret behind it. It's all a question of what I eat and when to make sure I always feel my best.
